Felt Sense Counselling.

We offer accessible and personalized therapy in person in Kelowna, BC and online province-wide.

Welcome

I’m Kathryn (she/her) - it’s lovely to e-meet you! Asking for help can be challenging. I’m grateful your search has led you here. I hope to give you space to tell your story, and feel truly, seen, heard, and supported in making transformative changes in your life.
Many of us experience overwhelming emotions that we can’t make sense of, struggle with unhealthy outlets for emotional safety, have insecurities in our relationships when our needs don’t get met, and find it safer at times to hide our real selves from others. With a little bit of guidance, you can find peace, hope, and healing.
My approach is integrative and holistic, attending to your psychological, emotional, physical wellbeing through talk-therapy and body-based interventions. My professional designation is Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

Felt Sense describes embodied knowing. Our bodies are incredibly intelligent; like an archive that holds all of our present and past experiences, even the ones we’ve blocked out. Felt sense encompasses the things we think and feel all at once. When we can tune in to felt sense, we can nurture a deeper connection with self and begin to interact with our inner and external worlds in new ways.

Accessibility and Inclusion

We are sensitive to and affirming of diverse experiences in ability, size, race, ethnicity, citizenship, religion, culture, and sexual orientation and respect individuals’ preferred gender identities.

We believe identity is complex and fluid across time and that it is shaped by the social environments in which we live, grow, and interact with one another. In particular, our experiences with power, privilege, and oppression influence our worldview and how we place ourselves within these contexts.

We welcome you, just as you are.
