Katelyn Urban (she/her)

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BCACC

Iā€™m Katelyn (she/her) - itā€™s lovely to e-meet you! Iā€™m new to Felt Sense and currently accepting new clients. I work with youth, teens, and adults, and specialize in anxiety and depression. You can click here to book a complimentary, 15-minute, virtual consultation.

Asking for help can feel really vulnerable, but itā€™s also an incredible act of courage given life is full of unpredictable challenges and messy moments.

Iā€™m here to support you with these moments. So many of us face relationship difficulties, overpowering emotions that are hard to make sense of, and mental health related struggles that prevent us from fully in our lives. Felt Sense offers a beautiful, safe space for you to explore greater self-awareness to help nudge you towards a more joy filled life.

My style of counselling is rooted in evidence-based therapeutic techniques: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic practices. Weā€™ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and body work together. Also, weā€™ll set achievable objectives to foster lasting change. Iā€™ll share practical tools to help you get to where you want to be.

Like all great partnerships, ours will be based on respect, compassion, and heart-centered connection. If my approach resonates with you, please reach out. I look forward to connecting with you!

Outside of Therapy

When Iā€™m not supporting others, I find joy in yoga, hiking with my pup, cooking meals for my loved ones, and exploring the outdoors. When summer rolls around, I look forward to fishing, golfing, and spending time on the water. During the winter I spend time with friends and family at Big White.
